My 18th Birthday

Yesterday was my 18th birthday. I sure celebrated in style. How, you may ask. Well, I celebrated my eighteenth.. alone. Yes, you got that right. 18th birthday celebrated alone. Actually, I wasn't really in the mood for any celebration. My birthday was just another mundane day for me. Nothing out of the ordinary, really.

I got up just about time for lunch, and as usual, the first thing I did was to turn my laptop on. Checked blog updates, comments, emails, Friendster. Everything was pretty much the same, except for the fact that I received more emails and got a few messages and an abundance of testimonial wishes from friends. Feeling hungry, the first place I ransacked was my cupboard. I made myself instant noodles for lunch, accompanied with a glass of apple juice from the fridge.

I procrastinated, not willing to study at all. My day went by with a couple of entries in my blog, and I pretty much have spent half my day at home. I felt really hungry about six, so I decided to treat myself better. I drove to Riverton and queued at the long queue which protruded out to the road from the inside of Sizzler. It took about 45 minutes before I was served. Got myself an Aussie Rump (300gm) with mashed potato as the side dish, which was pretty good. The desserts were good too, but too bad I didn't feel too good to try everything there.

Anyway, I did celebrate my birthday with a friend. Feeling really bored, I got my friend to accompany me to have some light supper at Gelare at about 10.30pm. Got home about 11.30pm, and decided to blog again. By the way, thanks for the birthday card, Velle. Truth be told, it was my first birthday card, ever.
